Report from 31st training

Sunday was a training day for all teams at Kelham Road.

Session started with a quick fun warm up game, allowing the remaining coaches to set up the other pitches and get ready for the individual teams (also allowed any latecomers to arrive, please remember 10am training starts).

The squad then split up into the 4 colour teams and proceeded to their normal pitches. The coaches then worked on passing, tackling and general support and gameplay, while trying to keep the team warm and enthusiastic on quite a cold and wet day.

Overall the day went well and ended with a great warmup game for the Red team against Blue team, fantastic play from both sides with great individual efforts, but more so great teamwork with support and covering play. Well done.

Next week see the full squad away at Stamford for a series of matches against Peterborough and Stamford.

It is likely to be wet and cold, please wrap up the players warm and if possible gloves to keep those fingers warm.
